I think allowance is something like pocket money, and its confirmed given to you whereas reimbursement, you can only claim when you spend? Somewhere along that line? (This goes to show that my HR knowledge needs more polishing). I suspect Jocelyn has yet to catch the ball that you threw to her as she has yet to reply.
As to how your glasses were on the floor, I think I know how it got there, and I suspect you actually know how it got there. You know, I know.

How was your trip to Ho Chi Minh? DId lots of shopping? Any souvenir(s) for me? As for me, went Batam( though only 40 mins ferry ride, but its still overseas right?)for a holiday cum course, and it was during the fasting month. Although, the PSI in Singapore reached 150, it did not appear to be that hazy in Batam. Had lots of fun though, did some crazy stuff, which I shall not and will not elaborate further here.
